Blonde hair everywhere. On her clothing, her sofa, her pillow. I wondered what went wrong between us. I wondered why she started this thing we had, when she had no intention of staying in it. I wondered why I gave her my heart and she gave me back the pieces. I had thought it was because I didn't know how to love her - by the time I had figured it out, she had left. Then I remembered the blonde hair and realized why my dream was over. I gave my heart to a brunette, she gave hers to a blonde. ~~ |
