Damn All Men To Hell

Title: Damn All Men To Hell
Author: Classic She
Rating: Mature
Paring: J/A
Summary: Their last day together.
Spoilers: Constituency Of One
Disclaimer: Not mine, they just tell me things, and I scribble it down.
Author's Note: Once again, I'm swiping Michelle K's drabble style - because it works so well.

You held his eye as long as you could, as you stood in the corridor. He turned away. The most humiliating day of your life, and it ended on this note. You maintained your dignity, your sanity, as you left the building. For the last time, ever, you resolved.

You were fine on the drive home, as you walked Henry, as you poured yourself a Scotch, neat. You went to change and were confronted by the cold, messy bed. Involuntarily, images of last night, this morning, of you and he, arose.

That's when you allowed yourself the freedom to cry.
