He's Playing Our Song

Title: He's Playing Our Song

Author: Classic She

Rating: Teen

Summary: Toby's trying.

Pairings: Toby - CJ - Andy

Spoilers: Um, sometime after the twins were born.
Disclaimer: Not mine, they just tell me things, and I scribble it down.

Author's Note: For Maeve's one line of dialogue challenge.

"He's playing Chopin?"

You knew the cause of her denial.

She was here for the twins, it had been his weekend. She didn't question your presence, she only insinuated that his choice of "their" song was somehow wrong.

It really wasn't your place to conduct this conversation, but you had felt his pain as he tried to connect with his children though the only means by which he had been able to connect with their mother.

"He's always played it for you, you never listened."

"I always listened, I just never appreciated it."

You acknowledge her guilt."He's playing Chopin."
